Strengthening the governance of national sports organisations |
We recently worked with 4 national-level sporting organisations assisting them to implement a series of federal-level restructuring programmes.

Each of the assignments entailed an examination of current governance practices, a strengthening of the relationship between the CEO and the board and the development of clear reporting and accountability lines.

Each assignment also required considerable redesign of the current constitution, aimed at making clearer the governance role of the board in order to support the development of stronger governance skills and attributes among directors.

Two of the assignments entailed the design of a skills-based board, moving away from state representation.
